About pickletourney
Can I sign up for a tournament on pickletourney?
No. pickletourney is not a registration site. Every event links to its official signup page, where you register and pay. Fees, schedules and rules are on that page too, so check the details there before you sign up.
Does pickletourney cost anything?
No. There are no ads, no paid listings and no fees.
Where do the events come from?
Organizers submit their own events, and we add some by hand from their official public pages. We do not copy listings from other websites, and we check every event by hand before it goes live.
Why is there no page for my state or city?
A state or city page is built once it has at least 5 upcoming events. Until then, its events are on the full tournament list.
What happens to an event after it ends?
It leaves the lists the day after its last day (US Pacific time). Its page stays online for 365 days after that, so old links still work.
How do I list my tournament?
Use the free submit form and include the official signup link. We check every listing by hand before it goes live. Your email address is never shown on the site.
How do I fix a wrong detail on an event?
Use the contact form. Pick "Event correction" and include the link to the event page.
Is pickletourney part of USA Pickleball or DUPR?
No. Not affiliated with USA Pickleball, DUPR, or Pickleball.com. We list events and link to each official signup page.
Does the round-robin generator save my players' names?
No. The round-robin generator runs in your browser. Names you type are stored only in the page link, not on our servers.
Playing in a tournament
When should I get to my first tournament?
Look up your check-in time on the event page. USA Pickleball tells directors to have players check in at least 30 minutes before their bracket starts. Our guide to your first tournament covers the rest of the day.
What happens if I am late to my court?
At sanctioned events you have 10 minutes to report after your match is called. At 10 minutes you forfeit the first game. At 15 minutes, in a match of more than one game, you forfeit the whole match. More in your first tournament.
Do I need a rating to play?
Not always. USA Pickleball notes that many clubs and casual events don't ask for one, but leagues and tournaments often do. Until you have one, you may be asked to rate yourself, and the tournament director has the final say on where you play. See how brackets and ratings work.
Which paddle can I use?
At a sanctioned event your paddle has to be on the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle List. Look yours up before the day. The packing list explains the other gear rules.
How many matches will I get?
At sanctioned events you are guaranteed at least two scheduled matches per event. The exception is single elimination with no consolation bracket, where one loss ends your event. See common tournament formats.
